  The window bucks supply a place to attach the windows just as in a conventionally built house.
 
The exterior of the house is prepared for stucco.  The blocks can be finished with most types of exterior finish including T1-11.  
 

Notes

  1. 8" ICF walls including reinforcement with R-25 minimum insulating value average     $15-20.00 per square foot of wall.  Price will vary with number of corners, height and window and door openings.

  2. Foundations can be conventional spread footings typical of masonry or poured in place walls.

    You can also use a post beam style foundation with the wall acting as the beam.  Budget cost would be approximately $25-30.00 per lineal foot.

    Mat slabs frequently can save money by using the mass of the slab as the foundation for the walls thus eliminating trenching, some forming and multiple pours.  A typical mat slab 15-18" thick with a double mat of reinforcing, visqueen and sand would run $20-30.00 per square foot.
